About Us

    Della Blaine started Plan To Go Travel in 2007 in Seattle WA. Plan To Go Travel is an affiliate of Dugans Travels, a full service travel agency. This means you have access to the benefits of a larger travel agency and get the one on one customer service provided by Plan To Go Travel.

    Some of the benefits of a larger agency are:

  • Representatives from cruise lines, vacations suppliers, hotel chains, car rental companies, insurance companies, air consolidators and more that keep us up to date on all specials and current products.
  • Suppliers that offer training, destination information, and FAM (opportunities for on location training)
  • A contact person to resolve any issue that may arise during travel.
  • A chat room to share information and recommendations with hundreds of agents in the US and Canada.
  • Members of IATAN, CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), Vacation.com and NACTA (National Associate of Career Travel Agents).

    • Della Blaine attends several travel events each year to be trained, meet suppliers and get updates on services offered.

  • Cruise ship tours completed include: Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian and Holland America Cruise Lines.
  • Resorts toured in Mexico, St. Thomas, Turk & Caiscos, Bahamas, Florida, Hawaii, and California.

    • In Progress:

  • Currently working on CLIA Accreditation of ACC (Accredited Cruise Counselor). This includes cruise experiences, cruise ship inspections (including a meal), training courses and attendance at industry events.
  • Next year will be completing the qualifications for CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) through the Travel Academy.
